Winning trainer's quotes:
Joe Calascibetta - "She's been putting on weight and getting stronger, more aggressive in her training. I thought she would run big today. Her last race was her first around two turns on turf and she tired after showing speed, but she's more seasoned now. I don't think she's one dimensional (turf only) and she's shown she handles a wet track, too, so we should have plenty of options ahead."
Winning jockey's quotes:
Wesley Henry, Sr. - "This filly had the most early speed in the race and figured to be on the lead, the question of course was whether or not she would last. Mr. Calascibetta told me that if I could get her to relax soon enough, she would take me a long way up front. We cleared off pretty fast and easily, so as soon as we reached the backstretch I started to relax her and she began running very comfortably. At that point I was confident she would finish strong. I knew we would start getting some pressure from the others around the last turn, so I didn't wait too long to ask her to open up. When I did, she responded even better than I expected."
